The Clear Communication Intensive is a one-week, goal-focused training program built around your dog's specific needs. This is not a one-size-fits-all curriculum that overloads them with every possible skill. Rather than teaching a fixed list of commands, we start by identifying what actually matters in your day-to-day life with your dog, then build a focused plan around those priorities.

The foundation of the program is consistent clear communication. We teach using reward based methods, leash guidance and marker words. Once a skill is known, dogs are held accountable to it, with clear expectations and boundaries reinforced consistently throughout the program.

From there, training is tailored entirely around the goals you set. Prior to enrollment, owners will identify their dog's specific problem areas and work with us to narrow down clear, meaningful training goals which may include building new skills such as loose leash walking, sit, down, or place, as well as extinguishing problem behaviors such as jumping on people, reactivity, or pulling on leash.

In the standard format, drop-off is scheduled between 8:00 and 9:00 AM, with pick-up between 2:00 and 3:00 PM, and each pick-up includes a 20-minute go-home lesson so owners can reinforce their dog's progress at home each day.

For owners whose dogs stay with us Monday through Friday, an added boarding option is available for $350. In this format, daily go-home lessons are replaced with a single, condensed 60–90 minute lesson at the end of the week, ensuring owners still receive thorough, hands-on instruction to carry the training forward at home.

This program is open to dogs 4 months of age and older. Upon completion, dogs are well-prepared to enter our Adventure Enrichment Training program, though this is not a requirement.

We start at your property, then move to our home base, and progress to real-world settings like local parks and coffee shops as your dog is ready. This step-by-step approach lets your dog build skills in a controlled space before practicing them where everyday distractions show up.

Our 60-minute in-person sessions give you one-on-one time with a trainer, right in the environment where your dog's behaviors naturally happen. You'll get real-time guidance, troubleshooting, and personalized instruction. No guesswork, just practical coaching you can apply immediately.

A Monday-Thursday Day Train of intensive, focused training designed for one outcome: a dog that comes back every single time, off leash, no matter the distraction.

Your dog will day train with us throughout the week, then you'll join for a 30-minute lesson at pickup each day. You'll learn the exact communication and timing we used with your dog that day, so the reliability we build during training transfers directly to you at home.

This program is intentionally narrow in scope. We're not working on manners, leash walking, or general obedience here, it's recall and only recall, built through consistent e-collar conditioning and real-world off-leash practice. By the end of the week, your dog should reliably return to you under distraction, and you'll have the skills and confidence to maintain that off-leash reliability long after the bootcamp ends.

Recall training is genuinely one of my favorite things to teach, and it's personal for me. I love off-leash hiking and adventuring with my own dogs, and that freedom only happens when you trust your dog to come back no matter what's going on around them. The more things you can do together off leash, the trails, the open fields, the real adventures, the deeper your bond becomes. This program exists because I want that same freedom and connection for you and your dog.

GSDCO Graduates are welcome to come back and board with us. Think of it as a tune-up while you're out of town. This is a chance for your dog to brush up on skills with someone they already know and trust, alongside other trained dogs. With skilled supervision, thoughtful pairing for play, and a home environment that balances intentional activity with built-in downtime, we make sure dogs stay engaged without becoming overstimulated.

Dogs who have completed another trainer’s training program that includes off-leash e-collar work, may be evaluated and considered for boarding on a case by case basis.
